I’ll admit that I enjoy watching the Tour come July. One thing that a couple of buddies and I did last year (the stage that Floyd did his comeback) we went up to the Summmit Ale House. Had a few beers, some tacos and hung out.

It was a great time. The bar was chock full of cyclists, and lots of flat screen Tour de France viewing.

They are located at 601 Summit Ave. E - that’s Summit and Mercer on the west slope of Capitol Hill, just west of Broadway. The #14 metro bus from downtown stops right across the street, great for that after-work beverage.
