2006 Tour de France winner Floyd Landis is going to be in town. Lake Forest park of all places. He’ll be at Third Place Books doing a reading/signing of his new book Positively False: The Real Story of How I Won the tour de France.
Floyd Landis, the American cyclist whose hard-earned 2006 tour de France victory was stripped after accusations of doping, provides evidence to clear his name and details the fascinating ups and downs of his life and career.
The event is FREE and starts at 7pm on Thursday July 12th. Third Place Books is located in Lake Forest Park Towne Centre, up North just off the Burke Gilman Trail (map)

So Floyd will ride with us if we can get someone in town to organize an early morning ride July 12th. Say 50 people @ $100.00 each would help his defense fund. Or some other equation of people and donation. Who else is up for an early morning ride with Floyd in Seattle? Maybe around Magnuson Park or ???? LW
