Gloves that you blow into to warm

January 24th, 2007 · 2 Comments

So check these out. Gorgonz has gloves that you can blow into to warm them up. Given the nasty cold weather we’ve had lately this sounds like the perfect bit of gear.

Gorgonz’s Exhale Heating System is based on the way people blow into their hands to warm them up. You breathe into the valve on the back of the glove and the hot air is circulated around your fingers. The Exhale Gloves cost around $20 or so.

Don’t your hands get even colder from being damp?

I don’t know about these, but I product tested the same “exhale” system for ski/snowboard gloves and I felt that moisture/condensation was a problem. Also, it makes you feel sort of light headed….
