The Cowboy is back!

On Tuesday, Dec. 12 Joe Kurmaskie, The Metal Cowboy, will be back in Seattle to host an evening of stories, rants, audience participation, foolishness, a digital slide show (new slides and additional stories from the ones shown at the spring event) raffles, and a special bicycling haiku and Limerick contest for anyone in attendance, with great prizes to the winners! And junk from his garage for the losers.

If you don’t know the story, a few summers ago, Joe hooked up a trail-a-bike for seven-year-old Quinn and a trailer for five-year-old Enzo (plus a ziploc for grandpa’s ashes) and packed the posse off for a summer of cycling, swimming pools, baseball, apple pies and, boys being boys, light saber fights across America.

Stories from that summer have become his newest book: “Momentum Is Your Friend: The Metal Cowboy and His Pint-Sized Posse Take on America.”
