Burke Gilman Trail Redevelopment Project Public Meeting
Wednesday, May 24, 6:30-8:30pm
Lake Forest Park Elementary
18500 37th Ave NE in Lake Forest Park
King County is planning to improve a 2-mile segment of the Burke Gilman Trail through Lake Forest Park. The preliminary design calls for widening the paved trail to 12 feet (bringing it up to current design standards) and to remove vegetation in places where it impedes sight distance. Some neighbors along this section of the trail have complained about speeding cyclists and do not support widening the trail. This is your opportunity to learn about the project and to offer your two cents on trail improvements!
