Chilly Hilly 2006

February 27th, 2006 · No Comments

Well, it’s the day after. How are you feeling? Me, I’m a bit more tired than I thought I would be.

If you’re into cycling, and you live in Washington, chances are you’ve heard of the Chilly Hilly. This is a ride put on by the Cascade bicycle club, describing it as “With Chilly February weather and 2,675 feet of Hilly climbing, the name says it all!”. It is usually the first “big” ride that most cyclists around the area do, and it attracts more than 4,000 of them.

This year I did something a little different and registered in two events on the same day. After doing my same-day registration with Cascade, I went down and registered for the .83 ride. A good bunch of people who were fun to hang out with.

If you want to find out what people are saying about this year’s ride check out both the cascade forums and the Seattle PI’s article.

Sorry for lack of pictures, the memory card was full of unarchived photos.

Also, I decided to use Gmaps Pedometer to create the Here’s the Chilly Hilly route.
